Sensitivity Pattern of Staphylococcus aureus Isolates from Different Sources for Methicillin, Vancomycin, β-lactamase and ESBL Production

Background: Staphylococcus aureus has the ability to develop many efficient mechanisms neutralize them and it become difficult control virulent strains of S. from causing staphylococcal diseases in animals humans. Mostly Staphylococcal have resistant methicillin, β-lactamase ESBL activity sometime vancomycin also. The present study investigated phenotypic genotypic characteristics all 62 isolates for sensitivity towards b-lactamase, production vancomycin. Methods: were obtained by conventional microbiological methods, confirmed genotypically 23S rRNA ribotyping Maldi-Tof MS. Methicillin resistance among was detected culturing on MeReSa Agar. Extended-spectrum b-lactamase combined disc method. Result: On agar, 53(85.48%) as methicillin (MRSA), but none any source or place sampling positive disk (ESBL) exhibited 51 (82.25%) with 100% (maximum) human pus showing 66.66% (least activity) seen unprocessed meat.
